The Wisconsin Technical Assistance Referral Tool is the result of a workgroup that was convened in 2020 to help identify issues for business growth in Wisconsin.
This tool that will be used to highlight and enhance the robust ecosystem of providers that help businesses in Wisconsin, as well as eliminate “pain points”, such as lack of communication amongst technical and financial assistance providers or the lack of understanding of the services offered by technical assistance and financial assistance providers, both of which exists in the current business ecosystem and referral process.

What will the Wisconsin Technical Assistance Referral Tool (WI-TART) do?

The Wisconsin Technical Assistance Referral Tool will streamline the business referral, application, and follow-up process amongst technical assistance and financial assistance providers. Any technical assistance or financial assistance provider will have the ability to communicate the needs of a business they are working with on one platform that is integrated seamlessly and
allowing for high level and up-to-the minute visibility on where that business currently is in the ecosystem.

Who can use the Wisconsin Technical Assistance Referral Tool (WI-TART)?

Any nonprofit, quasi-governmental, municipal and community-based entity as well as banks, credit unions, community development financial institutions and revolving loan fund providers can utilize this tool.
This tool is not available for use by for-profit entities that are looking to work with other businesses at this time.business they are working with on one platform that is integrated seamlessly and allowing for high level and up-to-the minute visibility on where that business currently is in the ecosystem.

Will the business being referred through

No. Businesses will not have access to WI-TART.

As a technical or financial assistance provider, you can refer as many businesses as you would like to other technical and financial assistance providers throughout Wisconsin. The beauty of this tool is that you can refer businesses for capacity-building assistance locally, regionally or statewide.

The Wisconsin Technical Assistance Referral Tool is built using Salesforce.
